Winery on Bethany Ridge
Bethany Ridge Winery is a family-oriented business.
We are devoted in making top quality wines using mostly Ohio grown grapes and other fruits. We are situated on top a ridge amongst the rolling hills of beautiful southeast Ohio. Our 3-acre estate vineyard and 1600sqft tasting facility make the winery a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Established in 2019, we have been making both sweet and dry wines for all different palates of life. Along with our wines we offer top notch charcuterie boards made with local meats and cheeses and on occasion we prepare seasonal soups and appetizers. Stop by and enjoy some live music at the winery, shows are usually preformed once a month. You can also reserve tickets for one of our events we host. Such as Paint and Sips, Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Haunted Vineyard, and Dinner Theaters.
Generational Winemakers
Grapes and winemaking have been in my (Benjamin Beha) family for years. My Grandfather and Great Grandfather both enjoyed the craft. As I am the 5th generation removed from the old world in Germany, and I like to think my family made wine there as well. I also have a green thumb on the other side of my family, my Great, Great Grandma was a Chapman and was related to the legendary John Chapman (Johnny Appleseed).”
A True Family Winery
Over the years, Jess and Ben’s family has expanded to include six children. With their support, as well as the help of extended family, we’ve built the winery into what it is today. Their duties have ranged from gathering pruned vines to being front row on the bottling assembly line, washing dishes, picking and crushing grapes. The winery’s success wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our family, and we are deeply grateful for their help.
